THANKS BUT NO THANKS // BEACH LONDON

Yesterday was the last day and auction of the show Thanks But No Thanks at Beach London, curated by Alex Brown and Ben West. It’s such a great concept, I don’t know why it hasn’t been done before… artists and designers are asked to donate artwork that is unwanted or has been rejected by the client who commissioned it. All proceeds of the sales go to the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.

Andy and I had some of our totems and a poster from the HARK show at The Old Shoreditch Station Café. There were some great artworks from the likes of Rose Blake, Rob Ryan, Mike Perry, Sarah Maycock, Build, Julia, Bob Design, Wally Ollins, Milton Glaser and Ian Wright to name but a few…We only went at the beginning of the auction so I don’t know what the final prices were but hopefully all the artworks fetched quite a bit!
